TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR JOB BOARD POSTING SERVICES

These Terms and Conditions govern your relationship with The Opportunity Hub UK (“The OHUB”, “us”, “we” or the “Business”) for purchasing job posting advertising credits and related services. Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law. By purchasing advertising credits or utilizing our services, you accept these Terms and Conditions.

1. Definitions:

In these terms and conditions, unless the context requires otherwise, the following definitions apply

1.1. The Business: THE OPPORTUNITY HUB UK LTD, trading as The OHUB, a company incorporated in England with the registered number 11842284, 86-90 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NE.

1.2. Client: The person, company, or organization purchasing advertising credits or using our services.

1.3. Services: Job posting advertising credits, Hiring as a Service (HaaS), On-Demand Advertising Solutions, and other related services offered by The OHUB.

1.4. Credits: Prepaid units used to purchase job postings or other services on the OHUB platform.

1.5. Order: A request submitted by the Client to purchase Credits or Services.

2. SERVICES

2.1. On-Demand Advertising:

  • £500 per job posting, valid for 28 days.
  • Includes a dedicated and experienced Account Manager.
  • Features: Video introductions & profiles, unlimited CV views, dashboard management, social media advertising, video advert option, custom logo on postings.

2.2. Hiring as a Service (HaaS):

  • Monthly Subscription: £2275 per month.
  • Annual Subscription: £2275 per month with a 10% discount if paid upfront for the year.
  • Includes all On-Demand Advertising features plus:
    • Management Dashboard for job submissions, vacancy management, and application reviews.
    • Direct engagement with candidates for interviews and hiring.
    • Enhanced shortlisting with customized, pre-screened candidate lists.
    • Adverts remain live until closed.
    • Up to 5 job adverts per month.
    • Consultant headhunting and bespoke shortlisting.
    • Blog post about the Client’s company on The OHUB.

 

3. ORDERING AND PAYMENT

3.1. Ordering: Clients may purchase Credits or Services through the OHUB platform. All orders are subject to acceptance by the Business.

3.2. Payment: Payment must be made at the time of ordering via the OHUB platform. Payments can be made using accepted credit/debit cards or other payment methods as specified on the platform.

3.3. Subscription Payment: For HaaS, Clients can choose monthly or annual payment plans. Annual subscriptions offer a 10% discount if paid upfront.

 

4. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

4.1. On-Demand Advertising: No refunds will be provided once a job posting goes live.

4.2. HaaS Subscription: Clients can cancel their subscription with one month’s notice. No refunds will be issued for the current month, but no further payments will be taken after cancellation. Annual subscriptions cannot be canceled mid-term and are non-refundable.

 

5. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

5.1. Accuracy of Information: The Client must ensure that all job posting information is accurate and up-to-date.

5.2. Compliance: The Client must comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to job postings and employment practices.

5.3. Intellectual Property: The Client grants The OHUB a license to use its name, branding, trademarks, and other intellectual property for advertising job postings.

 

6. THE OHUB RESPONSIBILITIES

6.1. Service Delivery: The OHUB will use reasonable skill and care in delivering the Services and ensuring job postings are live and accessible.

6.2. Support: The OHUB will provide support and assistance to Clients through a dedicated Account Manager.

6.3. Data Protection: The OHUB will handle all personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

7.1. The OHUB will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Services.

7.2. The OHUB’s total liability for any claims arising under these Terms and Conditions shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the Services.

8. MISCELLANEOUS

8.1. Changes to Terms: The OHUB reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes via the platform.

8.2. Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. USE OF THE SITE

9.1. Permitted Use: Clients agree to use the Site solely for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms and Conditions.

9.2. Prohibited Use: Clients must not use the Site to engage in any illegal activities or to harm others.

9.3. Intellectual Property: All content on the Site is owned by The OHUB or its licensors. Clients may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written permission.

 

10. TERMINATION

10.1. The OHUB may terminate or suspend a Client’s access to the Services without notice if the Client breaches these Terms and Conditions.

10.2. Upon termination, the Client must cease all use of the Services and any outstanding payments will become immediately due.

 

11. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

11.1 Data Collection: We collect personal data from clients and jobseekers to provide and improve our services. Our use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

11.2 Data Security: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect personal data. However, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11.3 Third-Party Access: We may share personal data with third-party service providers to facilitate our services, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11.4 User Responsibilities: Clients and jobseekers must ensure that any data they provide is accurate and up-to-date.

12. USER-GENERATED CONTENT

12.1 Content Ownership: Any content that clients or jobseekers upload to the platform remains their property, but by uploading, they grant us a license to use, modify, and distribute the content for the purposes of providing our services.

12.2 Prohibited Content: Users must not upload content that is illegal, offensive, discriminatory, or infringes on intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to remove any such content without notice.

 

 13. USE OF THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

13.1 Third-Party Links: Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by The OHUB. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

13.2 Third-Party Integrations: We may integrate with third-party services to enhance our offerings. Users agree to comply with any additional terms and conditions required by these third-party services.

 

 14. SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND MAINTENANCE

14.1 Service Uptime: We strive to maintain the availability of our services but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance and updates may result in temporary downtime.

14.2 Technical Support: We offer technical support to clients and jobseekers. Support requests can be submitted through our contact form or by emailing our support team.

 

15. ADVERTISER RESPONSIBILITIES

15.1 Accurate Representation: Advertisers must ensure that all job postings are accurate and do not mislead jobseekers.

15.2 Compliance with Laws: Advertisers must comply with all applicable employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to non-discrimination and equal opportunity laws.

 

16. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

16.1 Amicable Resolution: In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute amicably by contacting each other directly.

16.2 Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

16.3 Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

 

17. CONFIDENTIALITY

17.1 Confidential Information: Both parties agree to keep confidential any confidential information disclosed by the other party in connection with the services.

17.2 Non-Disclosure: Neither party shall disclose any confidential information to any third party without the prior written consent of the other party, except as required by law.

 

18. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

18.1 Ownership: All intellectual property rights in the platform and services are owned by The OHUB or its licensors.

18.2 License: Clients and jobseekers are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for its intended purpose.

 

 19. INDEMNIFICATION

19.1 Client Indemnity: Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless The OHUB, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with the client’s use of the services or breach of these Terms and Conditions.

20. MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICES

20.1 Service Changes: The OHUB reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the services (or any part thereof) with or without notice.

20.2 Updates to Terms: We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

By using The OHUB’s job board posting services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
