Our client is an independent conference production company, specialised in the power grid sector. They produce, promote, and stage a portfolio of premium-priced techno-commercial conferences to help power grid professionals make better technology choices and take bolder implementation actions in support of grid modernisation, renewables integration and carbon reduction.

The role involves:

Event website – create individual website for each of our events on the Hubspot platform and carry out weekly updates to ensure accuracy of content, speaker, sponsor and other information in the run up to the event
Promo emails – set up the promo email html for each event on a fortnightly basis, schedule for transmission and record the performance on the campaign plan
Creative design – create brochure pdf, email signature banners, speaker and sponsor LinkedIn cards, among other creatives to drive word of mouth and social media promotion of the events
Video editing – edit speaker preview interviews for upload to Youtube and other social media channels
Media partners – research new media partners for each event, make first contact and engage their involvement, to help raise visibility of the event and drive traffic to the event website
Diary listings – post event description and details on a wide range of online channels to drive traffic to the event website
Campaign measurement – record channel and activity performance on weekly sales and marketing report and circulate to the team

The ideal candidate:

  • 2:1 Degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Humanities or Arts degree
  • Interest in the Clean energy sector and b2b buyer psychology
  • Clear and concise written and oral communication skills
  • Meticulous organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Collaborative team work and stakeholder engagement style
  • Commercially driven with excellent deadline management and target/goal orientation
  • Comfortable using CRM and other productivity tools
