Job Overview: As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll have the chance to make a real impact in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stages 1 & 2. This school is renowned for its exceptional support systems and state-of-the-art facilities, all of which have contributed to their impressive Ofsted results.

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Providing support to children, both in small groups and occasionally on a one-on-one basis.
  • Utilising your skills in effective behaviour management.
  • Ensuring that all tasks delegated by the teacher are completed in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Being open to contributing to lunchtime cover.

Here are the skills you'll need:

  • Prior classroom experience is essential.
  • Having a driving license and car may open up further opportunities. 
  • While a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous, it's not a strict requirement.
  • A passion for working with children and contributing to their growth.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to build rapport with students and create a supportive learning environment.
  • A DBS on the Update Service or the willingness to have one run through our channels.
  • Any experience in implementing your own interventions is a valuable asset.

  • Convenient working hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
