This business is the leading provider of expert technology advice for all digital workplace and employee experience platform decisions, curating policy, news and insights for Internal Communications and HR professions.

The Digital Sales Executive role:

  • Responsible for driving new business digital sales through outbound new business and cross-selling / upselling our existing membership to increase revenue and volume of members within our community – utilising a blend of different tools and processes
  • Alongside the Marketing Manager, develop and implement best practice digital sales journeys, actively looking for ways to optimise to increase digital sales conversations and output
  • Utilising Hubspot, focus on moving prospect customers and existing members through the sales funnel through consultative selling
  • Support the Marketing Manager and wider business with ways to improve the customer experience within the community, actively seeking new ways to enhance the product for the benefit of our members
  • Utilise data from CRM, Google Analytics and other business intelligence to continuously refine and direct your sales activity
  • Actively seek new ways to engage with our existing membership base to ensure they’re receiving the maximum value from their membership with Simply
  • Focus on utilising the CRM as a robust source of both input and output data
  • Help to define customer segments and journeys with the Marketing Manager
  • Alongside the Marketing Manager, develop ways to improve customer conversion measurements
Who Fits The Bill
  • Motivated, curious and tenacious with a desire to learn and develop within a digital sales and product space
  • Some previous experience in a digital sales role (desirable, but not essential)
  • Experience of HubSpot (desirable, but not essential) or any other CRM platform
  • Data led in your decision making – ensure that changes are made with the best data available
  • Results and commercially focused – relentlessly looking for ways to generate more value for customers
  • You’re curious and thrive in ambiguity and change, enjoying the task of building a scale up business
