JOB DESCRIPTION
The core purpose of this role is to provide support to the Media & Communications team, bringing
imagination, inspiration and an abundance of energy. You will first and
foremost assist the team in delivering media excellence and achieving KPIs for our clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the team in delivering high quality media and influencer results
- across earned channels
- Monitoring client coverage, ensuring it’s clipped and shared in a timely and
- compelling manner that sells the results to clients
- Collating weekly and monthly reports, ensuring rolling coverage booklets
- and trackers are kept up to date regularly as needed by Team
- Managing internal media and influencer databases and regularly updating
- staying on top of media changes and updates via Diary Directory and
- Roxhill
- Writing compelling press assets including releases and media alerts that
- deliver relevant stories and messaging that resonate with media
- Support the team in the distribution of press materials, pitching and selling
- in of stories
- Collate media overviews and briefing documents for press trips and
- interviews
- Provide insight into social media trends and providing advice on
- influencers and content creators
- Begin to build own network of media, influencer and content creator
- contacts across food, drink and travel
- Build upon understanding of media, proactively sharing new ideas and
- trends to help guide media comms for clients
- Fulfil reactive journalist requests promptly to ensure H&C are seen as
- responsive, reliable go-tos by media
- Working closely with Media & Communications Consultants and Partners to
- ensure relevant updates are shared to Client teams
- Assisting the team at events, launches and hotel openings, when needed
