Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Monitoring and interpreting regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Ensuring company policies and procedures comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conducting regular compliance audits and assessments.
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing compliance policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring all employees are aware of and adhere to compliance policies.
  • Identifying and assessing compliance risks and developing strategies to mitigate potential issues.
  • Conducting training sessions on compliance topics for employees and providing ongoing education about regulatory changes and updates.
  • Maintaining accurate records of compliance activities and audits, preparing and submitting compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • Investigating compliance breaches and taking appropriate corrective actions, working closely with legal and regulatory bodies during investigations.
  • Staying updated on the latest regulatory trends and best practices, recommending and implementing improvements to the compliance program.
Here are the skills you'll need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), or similar are preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a compliance role within the financial services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software.
